Sheep Friends - Billy 1.03 is a simple audio player that allows you to play an entire directory of MP3 files.
This program can usually load files faster than Winamp or Media Player.
Billy can play music albums without adding any gaps between tracks- This way, an overlapping applause or beat will continue.
You can control Billy using the keyboard. You can open the directory tree by pressing the F4 key, select the file you want to play using the cursor movement keys, and launch it pressing the ENTER key. You can stop the play pressing the SPACEBAR, or see the information about the file pressing the F2 key. You can see further information pressing the "Tags" button that will appear.
You must specify the folder where you store your MP3 files the first time you launch the program, in order to configure where will Billy look the files to play. You can later modify this as you wish.
The program also has a finder and special rename functions that will help you to find and organize your files.

Billy 1.03 - at last, a no-nonsense MP3 player. I've tried out no fewer than 26 free MP3 players - This one does what it is intended to do, and very well too. No fancy interface / skins, simply a brilliant player with more than adequate control & options. (I don't want to watch swirling pictures, I want to listen to my music). Short, but informative documentation is included. It plays "gapless" - a rare but necessary feature for those of us who enjoy 'live' & 'classical' music. (The only other players I encountered that also play truly gapless, are Aqualung and VU Player. If a more 'entertaining' GUI is your thing, then try them out). Billy MP3 player is on my software A-list.
